Honestly, we’ve been doing this for 15 plus years now and if there’s one thing we’ve noticed, it’s that students rarely fail because ACCA is too tough. They fail because nobody sits them down and actually explains how the examiner thinks. Our teachers have cleared these exact papers themselves, so when a student comes back confused about why they lost marks on something they thought was right, we can actually show them what went wrong instead of just guessing. Yes, and we get quite a few actually. Engineering students, science background kids, all sorts. ACCA doesn’t care what degree you’re doing; it just wants you willing to put in the hours. We’ve had a mechanical engineering student clear his first attempt faster than some commerce grads, so background really isn’t the deciding factor here.
Depends on the student honestly. Some finish in under 2 years if they’re pushing hard, others take 3 because they’re working a job alongside. ACCA gives you 4 exam windows a year and you don’t need to clear papers group wise, so there’s flexibility built in. We don’t promise a fixed number to anyone because it genuinely depends on how many papers a person can juggle at once.
First thing, ask if the faculty has actually cleared ACCA themselves or if they’re just accounting grads reading off slides. Second, ask about first attempt pass rates, not just “how many students got placed” numbers, because those two things get mixed up a lot in marketing. We share our numbers when asked, no hesitation.
We do, though we tell students straight up that placement support only works if the preparation was solid to begin with. Our connections mostly land people in audit, financial accounting, and FP&A roles right now since that’s where the demand is. There’s also a grooming program running alongside the technical classes because interviews aren’t just about knowing debit and credit.

The earlier papers are computer based and available basically on demand, so there’s no fixed exam date forcing your hand. We’ve seen people clear their first level papers while holding down a full-time job.
Sit through a demo class first, don’t just go by the website. Ask how doubts get resolved outside of class hours because that’s where most institutes fall short. Once the papers and practical experience requirement are done, most people move into financial accounting, audit, tax advisory, or FP&A to start. Over time, a fair number move up into finance controller or even CFO type roles.
